SYNCHRO prayer!!! 14th MARCH 2011 =)

Hello everyone! :D It's sync prayer once again!! :D

Today as we come together to pray, let us not forget to pray for Japan. Over the past few days, Japan experienced earthquake and tsunami, as well as nuclear plant explosions. Pray that God will heal this country and the people. Oh n QT today at Ps 73 :) jiayou!

Serene:
- Give thanks for God's Grace and strength in bringing me through the first week of my exam. 1/3 is done.
2/3 left! :) pls pray for grace, clarity of mind and strength to face this upcoming week of papers. there is so much to
cover/revise + rmb and time is running out. medicine and paeds essays on mon. med +paeds mcqs on tues. and med+paeds meqs on wed.
hahah.. i can truly say from the bottom of my heart that i am definitely not in control, but i know God is :)

Priscilla:
- Thanksgiving that Dikai accepted Christ last week. It's been eye-opening and encouraging learning from our captains.
- For Huilin for her east west tlc yesterday.
- For my dad.. he's plugging into christian music at home that he says his heart is getting tilled and watered.
- Pray for isaiah 40:31 to be real in everyone's lives.

Wen Jia:
- Pray for my FTT on the 28th Mar and my university application.

Qiurong:
-Give thanks that Singapore is a safe country and that God has given us many blessings that other countries dont enjoy.
-Pray for Japan victims and that christians there can stand strong in faith.
-Pray for this sat morn's tandao w simin's friend,may God give us wisdom and let the Holy spirit work through us.

Vincent:
- Pray that i can defer army for studies this year. I'm currently submitting the documents needed for processing. Pray for smooth and fast processing.

Wenjun:
- Please pray that God will help me to begin to evangelise from where I am, at work and especially at home!
- Also that we will always trust that God will provide.

Jeff:
- Pray that Fish will not be too stress in her work and that she will be able to handle all the cases she is facing now.
- Pray that I can get the new and better job
- Pray also for brothers and sisters to not be too stressed in their work or studies.

Sherine:
- Please pray that I will not be stressed or easily tired and be productive in using my time!! Feel that I can't cope with school, teaching, EE, and wed's bible study.
- Also pray that I can have the courage to testify for God to my friends.

Ben:
- Pray that during this relaxing period that I'll be able to get closer to God.

Justin Leow:
- Thanksgiving for last SUN's bible class attendance - 20. Heartened by turnout knowing how Sat was a long day! Let's press on with our commitment THIS WED 8PM at T21 for SAMUEL POON'S HERMENEUTICS!
- Thanksgiving for the two who accepted Christ last week - CF's Dikai & Siewhui's younger brother Zhenhui. May God let us experience more fruit-bearing! For the EE trainees - starting this week they will engage in the sharing so pray for wisdom & fluidity in transiting through the outline.
- For progress in FYP - last week I had a fruitful discussion with my prof, so pray I can take it from there & make some more progress!

Yirene:
- Pray for my mummy and my maternal grandmother as my uncle just passed away on Friday due to an unfortunate workplace accident. Pray that they will be able to find solace and comfort.
- Pray that I can manage my time well in this difficult time as I have too many deadlines to meet too.
- Lastly, pray for internship opportunities. Up will now, I am still “unemployed”, feel very disheartened. Pray that I will continuously rely on God for all matters.

Chu Qing:
- Qiurong, Simin and I will be meeting Darren, Simin's friend's friend, for gospel sharing on Saturday before the 'amazing race'. Heard from Simin that she never met him before and he have some questions and did some research. Pray that God will guide us through and the Holy Spirit will teach us at that time what we should say.
- Parents' salvation
- Pray for the people in Japan.
- Able to finish all my assignments due this week and next by this week. Have enough sleep.

Wen Hao:
- Pray for time management and understanding of priorities

Damien Pek:
- Would like to thank God for having wonderful chance of studying n understanding his word through my cell group, bible study group and Church here in Durham. Also thank God for placing Christians around him to encourage, inspire and hold accountable the decisions he make.
- Would like to pray for Japan in general for mercy on the calamity which struck them. Pray for my friends and their loved ones who are back in Japan.
