Hello everyone! :D HAPPY PRAYING TONITE! :DIts so sweet and encouraging tht u guys sent so many prayers and its sooo GREAT to know so many prayed and AMEN-ed together;)
Dear bros and sis lets jiayou and keep up THE PRAYERS ;D
Ruijun:
- Give thanks that 11 people in my group are joining the wed bible study by Bro Samuel Poon :):):) Pray that all of them will continue to grow deep in God's word everday of their lives.
Siewhui:
- Give thanks to God that things have been good for her. Pray for WenHao that he'll have good time management as he's quite busy
Wen Jia:
- A level results coming up in march. Pray that she can glorify God with her results.
Jiahao:
- Thanksgiving that he got promoted (higher pay :)) but pray that he wouldnt get weekend duties so he can go yf and church and serve. Pray for directions in his future education.
Justin Lee:
- Being assigned to Patrol and hence will have to work long hours. Pray for safety at work and that will still be able to attend church to weekends.
- Pray that his degree scholarship application can be shortlisted.
Huilin:
- Thank God for her friends who helped her when she had bad gastric pain on friday. She has new responsibilities at work, pray that she will stay focussed and not be distracted so easily when there are many things to be done at the same time. Pray for strength at work so that she will not burn out.
Rebecca:
- Pray for her as her exams are coming in one month's time and she'll be starting her Honors assignment beginning of next month and Masters assignment beginnin 4th quarter of this year. Pray for wisdom and strength.
Vincent:
- He'll be going to thailand this thursday for training. Pray for safety for this trip, and that he'll not be too achievement-minded but to be able to see what God wants him to learn and gain from OCS. Continue to pray for his parents' salvation too!
Sinliang:
- I am having exam on Tuesday, next Monday and next next Monday.
Stanley:
- Please pray for my brother who will be overseas for 6mths and my folks to be healthy. And also the marathon prayer request last week.
Yixiang:
- Give thanks that God has let me pass my Airforce compass test. Thank God that I have a committed EE student, Pris. Pray that she will continue to be and grow even more. Pray that liying and I, her prayer buddy will always remember her in our prayers. Pray that God will give me the heart and obedience to whatever outcome my pilot interview would be. Also to have faith in Him. Pray that during the free time that I have. I will use it wisely and not waste them.
Michael:
- Thank God that I have no control over my future so I don’t have to worry. Thank God for a wonderful family and YF. Thank God that my leave is coming.
Grace:
- Pray that I can become more intellectual and that my English will improve. More importantly, that I will have time to work on these. Also pray for EE that I will have the time commitment, drive and enthusiasm.
Esther:
- Thank God that its finally the week that im gg to see prof Suresh. Pray that I will be able to walk without the cast.. Cause I guess I relied too much on it. Pray for my time management to cope with studies and work. And to set realistic goals. Thank you very much!
Pris:
Thankful for:
- Liying for availing herself so willingly to share the gospel to my friend jan on sunday even though she's so busy,
that it was a great sharing and my friend was very receptive - even though she hasn't immediately accepted this gift yet, her feedback was that she was very happy to hear this being shared with her, and thinks it's very sweet of her to give that time
- the rest of my sisters and brothers who prayed, asked, cheered along the way
(this means so much when the going feels tough)
Pls pray for:
- courage to find Him in the secret place as we are, to press deep into His unfailing love and purpose
- our eyes to open to the realness of His grace everyday
- the upcoming EE b teams in their 出队 - for abounding favor & confidence with their prospects, that Love will grace the lips of the sharers and their sharings touch the hearers' hearts
- for my dad as he seems rather troubled these days... please pray for our parents' well-being everyday - to be blessed, kept and upheld by His tender mercies, because He is near, and He cares most.
Huiqi:
- Give thanks that my FYP stuff is over!
- Pray for my test on Thurs and Fri morning.
- For sanfu, Sherine's friend. Pray for a prepared and open heart for her, and for myself to brush up :)
Ben:
- Pray for my test on Tue that I will have enough preparation.
- Make full use of my time well for preparation of following papers.
- Tan dao to Wenjia's friend during the week (on sat)
- Combined YF/JYF amazing race preparation.
- Thank God so much for all His blessings, may i not take them for granted.
Sheila:
- Pray for my event for the whole of next week. Pray that I will be able to finish all my preparations before Fri. Pray that everything will go smoothly and no hiccups.
Wenjun:
- Thank God that the tenants have fall in place.
- Please pray that I can seek God deeper each day.
Sherine:
- Pray for me to have better time management and that I won't keep falling asleep while studying.
- Pray for my friend Zi Ling who's my EE prospect this week.

- Pray that I'll continue to excel in my working life.
- Pray that my Malay will improve day by day as i speak to the Malay patients.

- Give thanks for very supportive bros, sis, family and friends.
- Thank God for energy and His sustenance too. :)
- We were officially banned from the hospital wards last Fri, and my 2 week study break has started. Please pray for ability to memorise, examine (esp orthopaedics!), synthesize and present well.
- Pray for effectiveness in studying for my upcoming medicine MCQ test this Wed too.
- Pray for chances to share about God and His grace in this stressful period too!
Justin Leow:
- Thanksgiving for the *Hermeneutics Bible Study class*! We've got *36 signed up*
- let's pray we'll all apply ourselves hard to coming for class and going deep in reading the Word!- Thanksgiving for the Evangelism Explosion (EE) class. So far the class has shared with *two prospects* over the weekend - both are considering, so pray we'll have a chance to share with them again in time to come and that they'll eventually accept. We have *three more prospects* midweek, so let's pray for these processes. Where the prospects are difficult, that we'll learn good sharing lessons; where the prospects come to Christ, that we'll experience the sweetness of our loved ones coming to Christ.
- Supplication *for the EE captains* - beyond taking our trainees through the gospel outline and refreshing ourselves, we will immerse ourselves in a life of sharing the gospel. Because as we learnt in Lesson 2 on Sat - EE is not method, it's a lifestyle.
- Thanksgiving for my FYP - I've got a good direction and headstart in the two meetings I've had with my supervisor. Now is time for the work in reading my texts, thinking really hard and turning those thoughts into English. So *pray for wisdom and the ability to sit and read and write*.
Damien Pek Wei Jian:
- Thank God for my summative test last thursday.
- Pray for Rebecca (my gf) summative essays in the upcoming 2 weeks as she is feeling really stressed over it. Pray that God gives her the wisdom to structure her essay.
- Also pray to God for my upcoming breakdance performance that the trainings and actual event will go smoothly :)
Wen Hao:
- Pray that God will continue to give the EE students courage to approach the potential EE targets
- Pray that Kok Keong (Justin, Siewhui and I did a sharing with him yesterday but we need to 继续努力, somemore he is going to China, Shanghai next Monday. Pray that he will open up and that we have another chance to share with him before he embarks on the next part of his journey in life.- Pray that I will have the wisdom to manage my time and to be able to satisfy all the requirements of the committments that are due this week. I have a EID draft report and a Engineers and Society presentation due this Friday, a quiz next Monday and a lab report due thereafter on next Tuesday.
Chu Qing:
- Pray for my friend, Gu Si Yuan, that she will be willing to listen to God's message for her as Simin, Sophia and I will be meeting her on this Wednesday at 2pm for sharing. Pray that she will be receptive to the gospel.
- Pray for good time management and more time to sleep.
Yirene:
- To spend my recess week wisely
- Pray that my friend, Jian Gang, will respond positively to my invitation to be Grace’s EE target.
Liying:
- Thk God for bringing me through a very busy work wk, and also the sanfu sharing with Priscilla's fren ytd. Thank God that He used us to speak, to be able to remember most of e stuff, n also to be able to relate to her, making e sharing easier.
- Thank God for this prayer exercise, may we learn to carry each other burdens in prayer n also concern for each other.
- Thank God for new opportunities at work, but also pray for wisdom in prioritising. Pray also for humility n faith in God when I meet w difficulties in tricky interpersonal relations.
Joyce:
- Thank God for helping me to secure an internship and to find my last FYP group mate.
- Pray that I can quickly find a prof for my FYP and to give me wisdom and time management skills (because both of my FYP group mates are on exchange and I am the only one in Singapore to settle everything)
Yile:
- Please pray for very good time management that i'll be able to juggle work and studies and also yijie's wedding prep.
- Pray that i'll be able to do my assignments and adapt to the requirements of the university.
- Have a close walk with God regardless of the busy feb and march!
Preacher Chua:

-Pray for my exams that i can glorify God. This thurs(maths), nxt mon(anatomy and physiology) and thurs(fitness n wellness- exercise physiology).
-During this period, I've suddenly got loads of stuff to plan and do as well, feeling v stressed. Give thanks for tong bu ling xiu tht i can find encourage and treasure inside and give thanks for God for be the Lord over everything.
